The Town of Farmington Wetlands Commission on July 8 approved an application by homeowner Robert Rigney to place a 10-by-12 tool shed at 14 Anglers Bend.
Rigney told the commission the shed would “be set on a pad of stone, so there's no digging,” and said the location was chosen to avoid splitting the property's recreational area and would be out of view except to one neighbor who already has a shed. Town planner Bruce (staff) noted medallions marking the conservation easement should be installed. Chair Ed Stachin confirmed that the commission had previously determined the project was not significant and did not require a sidewalk.
The commission moved and seconded an approval that includes the stipulation that the conservation‑easement medallions be installed according to staff recommendations. The motion passed unanimously.
The commission asked Rigney to work with town staff on medallion placement and other site details; Rigney said he would do so.
