Town praises quick repairs after monthlong Hydro Tech maintenance contract

"Each week, they allot 4 hours," Brad said, explaining Hydro Tech divides that time among stations and has been able to clean debris, jet lines, and perform on-site repairs including replacing a broken shaft and rewiring a high-level flow alarm channel. Brad said those on-site repairs and preventative work have begun to recoup the monthly investment.
Brad also said crews found and removed blockages caused by a broken-off PVC piece and improved alarm communication to give staff earlier notice of high flows. Council members asked for details about longer-term performance and potential cost savings; Brad said staff are pleased with the contractor's responsiveness so far.
