Commissioners approve Seeley Lake Rural Fire District annexation petition

Shiroki said the petition met the signature requirement (owners representing at least 40% of acreage and 40% of taxable value) and that notice of the hearing had been published twice in the Missoulian.
Property owner David Castle identified himself at the hearing and said he was available for questions. Commissioner Slotnick moved to adopt the Seeley Lake Rural Fire District petition for annexation; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote.
The commission recorded the motion and the outcome; staff will process the administrative steps required to complete the annexation.
