The Commission continued several applicant‑requested matters: ZC‑26‑070 (2115 Bell Avenue, CareBridge Health Services LLC) was continued to August to correct site‑plan deficiencies or add waiver requests after staff identified required waivers for front‑yard parking and a front‑yard fence; ZC‑26‑071 (Odds Cantrell Sampson Road) was continued to August to allow staff review of a recently submitted site plan; and ZC‑26‑064 (1401 Alameda Street) was continued 60 days to give the developer and neighborhood more time to meet after new opposition correspondence surfaced.
Commissioners used continuances to encourage direct neighborhood engagement when opposition emerged: for instance, Mosier Valley residents and the neighborhood association president urged additional outreach and expressed concern about historic‑district impacts and proximity to cemeteries; staff and applicants agreed to return after further meetings with residents.
Voting: Many routine cases passed unanimously; the continuances of ZC‑26‑070 and ZC‑26‑071 were recorded as 11–0 continuances; ZC‑26‑064 continued on a 10–1 vote. A full list of votes and motions recorded at the meeting is available in the staff packet and the meeting minutes.
