Olive Branch proclaims July 7 ‘Coach Leslie Poole Day’

Poole accepted the honor and thanked the mayor and board members. "I just wanna say thank you to the mayor and to you board members. I appreciate it. It's an honor," he said, recounting his arrival in Olive Branch in 1974 and his work on local fields and youth programs.
The board presented the proclamation publicly and the item was recorded as a ceremonial recognition with no city action required beyond the proclamation itself.
