"These are MOUs that really should be updated and approved every year," a district official said, describing the Blue River agreements as routine updates without major changes. The motion to approve the MOU passed by voice vote, 4-0.
The board also approved a contract with Ed Ventum, the district said, to expand its credit-recovery offerings and to operate a full-time platform for the new North Harrison Virtual Academy, which the district said will launch next week. "This is the partner that we have, vetted and chosen, to open our North Harrison Virtual Academy," the district official said. That contract passed 4-0.
Both approvals were taken during the consent/motion portion of the meeting; no amendments to the agreements were recorded in the transcript. The board will publish the final documents and related information on the district website.
