On staffing and personnel, the board approved a set of changes including converting a 10‑month cook manager to a 12‑month cook manager and appointing Kyle Metler to that position; a probationary appointment of a speech‑language pathologist (Lisa Cisco) for a four‑year probationary term at an annual salary listed as $80,661; and the appointment of Melissa Picabrio to a four‑year probationary appointment as supervisor of special education in the administrator tenure area effective Aug. 7, 2026, at a prorated annual salary of $112,500. The board also approved the district technology plan for 2026–2029, a revision to the 2026–27 calendar (moving an April event to April 20), acceptance of a $200 donation from the Hudson Mohawk Roadrunners Club for grades 4–6 running club, and multiple contract approvals for student services and summer programming.
The meeting concluded with a motion to enter executive session to discuss employment history and the board adjourned into that session. The board’s next regular meeting was announced for Aug. 12 at 6 p.m.
