WARREN CO. R-III Board of Education recognizes students for state music honors

The WARREN CO. R-III Board of Education honored students who earned state-level music ratings during its regular meeting.
Superintendent praised the students’ progress and the effort behind the awards, saying, "It's really just an amazing accomplishment and a tremendous amount of work and effort that's put in by these students to get to, state qualifying, level." Staff then read names of soloists and ensembles that achieved outstanding or exemplary ratings, including Ethan Bolte, Adrian Cortez, Kelly Edwards, Lorelai Gadbury, Rosie Green, Andrew Harlem, Cameron Molitor, Joe Spencer, Cody Weymier, Nova Weekly, Noel Arndt, Malia Hopper, Madison Hillsman and Caden Teeter.
The board invited awardees and their families to come forward for photographs and offered congratulations. Chair and board members highlighted the district’s strong music instruction and encouraged the students to stay involved while the district continues school-year programming.
The recognitions were presented early in the meeting and required no board action. The board moved on to routine business after the photo opportunities.
