Fulton County commissioners approve contracts, election purchases and schedule more union talks

Chairman Randy H. Bunch called the Fulton County Board of Commissioners to order on March 10 and led a meeting that approved routine financial items, a contract for children's services and a small election-equipment purchase.
The board voted to approve the March 3, 2026, minutes and authorized accounts payable dated March 10, 2026, totaling $58,343.27. The payment breakdown included $48,919.07 from the General Fund and smaller amounts charged to Liquid Fuels, 911 and other funds.
Commissioner Randy H. Bunch moved to approve quotes from Amazon and Inclusion Solutions for election equipment purchases totaling $4,827.00; the board approved the motion and recorded that the expense will be reimbursed through election grants. Commissioner Hervey P. Hann moved to approve and execute a Purchase of Service Agreement between Fulton County and Outside In for services to the county's Children Department, effective July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2026; the board approved the agreement.
The commissioners reported several executive sessions during the meeting and in the days prior for personnel and legal matters, including an Emergency Executive Session on March 4, 2026, related to personnel. Times to enter and exit executive sessions were recorded on the public minutes; the board did not disclose deliberations held in executive session.
Commissioners met with Fred Black to discuss maintenance needs at the Hustontown Senior Center; Chairman Bunch said he and Building and Maintenance Director Brad Seville would inspect the building to determine next steps. The board also met with representatives of Teamsters Local Union No. 776, including Ronald Kriel, mediator Tom Wrobleski and union stewards Jody Keefer and Jennifer Burdge, for contract negotiations. The board recessed for negotiations and held an executive session; a follow-up negotiations meeting is scheduled for March 24, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.
The board held a work session from 1:15 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. that included HR Administrator Mary Huston and adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
