Engineer Jacob Ferro presented the salary adjustments: Matt Mcmanigal’s rate will be reduced from $37.05 to $36.03 until Sept. 15, 2026; Darik Collins’s rate will be reduced from $30.77 to $29.87 until the employee’s anniversary date on Nov. 13, 2026. The board approved the salary revisions by a 3-0 vote.
The board also approved advertising for an Engineering Technician position at $29.87 per hour, with the motion passing 3-0. Ferro reported contractors working on route L63 encountered technical issues; they completed rumble strips, pavement markings were expected that week and a DOT walkthrough was scheduled. On weed-control matters, parcel owners had sprayed and moved equipment and county staff will continue to monitor compliance.
