Appointments: The board approved the appointment of Durham Lunt to the housing authority (term through March 2031, noted 07/06/2026) and Jesse Hartson to a vacant seat on the MDIHS board of trustees to serve until the 05/03/2027 town meeting. Motions to accept both appointments were moved and seconded and approved.
Liquor licenses and small contracts: The board approved liquor-license renewals for Michael Voland d/b/a Copita (102 Main St., Northeast Harbor), Catherine Connolly d/b/a Lighthouse Inn and Restaurant (12 Main St., Seal Harbor), and 14 C Street d/b/a The Docksider (14 C St., Northeast Harbor). The board also authorized payment to Omega Security Group for $5,915 to add a security-camera system at the Seal Harbor Pier (CIP account 6410100-24687). A contract with On The Line, Inc. for annual road striping not to exceed $15,000 was approved; Clark Construction’s proposed time-and-materials contract for a stormwater catch basin at Seal Harbor/Steamboat Wharf was tabled pending circulation of the memo and contract sheet.
Gift and warrants: The board accepted a conditional gift of $1,500 from Mary Morgan to support the town’s ambulance service and approved treasurer warrants and payroll (town invoice AP2701/DD2701 totaling $496,927.37 and payroll PR2629/PR2701 totaling $586,910.10), with one abstention noted on payroll approval.
Procedural notes: Multiple items were introduced from the packet and several contracts or memos were added late; in those cases members asked that full documentation be provided before final approval. The meeting adjourned after approving the listed items.
