Board members moved the bill through first and second readings and then onto final passage without substantive amendment. The clerk recorded roll-call votes in which the members present voted Aye on first reading, second reading and final passage; the measure was assigned ordinance number 7628 upon adoption.
The ordinance removes numeric fee amounts from multiple code sections and directs that the city clerk maintain the schedule with the specific charges. According to the attorney's synopsis, the change is intended to streamline administrative updates so that future fee adjustments can be accomplished by a board resolution rather than by formal code amendments.
