Labette County commissioners approve $361,206.32 in payments, authorize Amazon Business account and several administrative motions

Other approved motions included authorization for the chairman to sign an Appraiser’s Parcel Search Agreement between Labette County and Brian Coltrane (BC Max), with a $225 fee noted as paid; authorization of a Neighborhood Revitalization Plan application for Brad Jay; and re-adding Josh Hucke to the Solid Waste Committee email chain (Hucke had been appointed in 2017). The meeting record shows these administrative items were moved and seconded and passed by recorded votes.
During the session the board recessed briefly and later entered an executive session for attorney-client consultation with County Counselor Brian K. Johnson in attendance for a stated ten minutes. Following executive session, the commissioners also approved cancellation of two credit cards for the County Attorney’s Office until further notice; that motion passed 2-1 (Tom Barrett Yes; Terry Weidert Yes; Vincent B. Schibi No).
