The council voted to adopt Resolution 2025-7 to approve the 5311 Program Agreement (project identifier PI 2536). Council Member Lance Beethe made the motion, which Council Member Tyler Speckmann seconded; the motion passed with all six council members recorded as voting aye (Beethe, Britt, Brommer, Goracke, Speckmann, Topp). The minutes list the item as a federal-aid funds agreement; the minutes also contain a separate numeric reference written once as "53311," which appears to be a transcription inconsistency. The agreement was recorded on the agenda as PI 2536.
Council also approved a four-year contract with SEGRA to provide phone, internet and data services at $984 per year. The motion to approve the SEGRA contract was made by Council Member Lorie Topp and seconded by Council Member Travis Goracke; the council voted unanimously to approve the contract.
On the consent agenda, the council approved the minutes of its June 2 meeting, authorized payment of city bills and approved a fireworks show for July 4, 2025, with a rain date of July 5 at the Fairgrounds. The consent agenda passed on a motion by Council Member Lorie Topp, seconded by Council Member Alicia Brommer, with all members voting aye.
The meeting was called to order by Mayor Jesse Grof and was recorded by City Clerk Janelle Moran. The session, held in the Utilities Conference Room at the Utility Shop, was adjourned at 5:11 p.m.
