Commissioner Judy St. Louis-Scott raised concerns about the cost and loan for the courtroom remodel project during the Committee of the Whole meeting on Monday.
St. Louis-Scott questioned the project's expense and the proposed loan, saying she was concerned about the county’s ability to absorb the cost. Commissioner John Kling responded that spreading the loan over 10 years would make payments manageable.
The board did not adopt a financing plan or vote on the remodel at the Aug. 25 meeting; further discussion is expected in future board business.
