Residents press county over helicopter flight paths; commissioners ask airport manager to intervene

Residents said they had filed complaints with the Federal Aviation Administration and had contacted the county airport manager but had not received a remedy. The transcript records commissioners referring the matter to the airport manager and requesting documentation from the operator; no enforcement action or ordinance change was proposed at the meeting.
The board did not record a follow-up deadline in the meeting minutes; the authorization directs county staff to open a formal line of communication between the airport manager, the helicopter operator and affected residents.
