Tracy said Acrisure would continue as the county's health-care administrator and that the committee provided a five-year strategy aimed at reducing health-care costs going forward.
Commissioner Austin Kimberling moved to approve the Aetna Angle Health plan; Commissioner Daryl Schroeder seconded. The measure passed on a roll-call vote with Kimberling, John Kling, Chair Mike Patrick, Schroeder and Judy St. Louis-Scott voting yes.
The board did not specify plan design details in the meeting record beyond the insurer and the estimated annual cost; commissioners did not request a recorded amendment or further committee referral.
