Eufaula board approves consent agenda including calendar change, CareerTech and health services contracts

At its Sept. 8 meeting, the Eufaula Public Schools Board approved the consent agenda, voting 5-0 to accept routine reports and contracts needed for the 2025–2026 school year.
The consent agenda covered the activity fund report and minutes from the Aug. 7 meeting, and included a change to the school calendar converting from a days-based schedule to an hours-based schedule for 2025–2026. The board also approved extra duty assignments for the year and the district's 2025–2026 Estimate of Needs with its accompanying budget summary.
Contracts approved as part of the consent agenda included a contract with CareerTech for the 2025–2026 school year and a contract with Public Consulting Group LLC for the Oklahoma School-Based Health Services Program for 2025–2026. The board also approved an agreement with Blake 102.5 FM to telecast Eufaula athletic programs for the school year, and accepted district capacity numbers and transfer vacancy listings effective Sept. 3, 2025.
The motion to approve the consent agenda was made by Jeff Pippenger and seconded by Kenny Bumgarner; the minutes record that the motion carried unanimously.
