The Kenowa Hills Board of Education heard a middle school spotlight Sept. 22 that showcased early successes with grade-level teaming, Moments of Genuine Connection, Response to Intervention supports, a new Middle School Parent Group, and student 'Peak Moments.' Principal Dodge presented with middle school teachers Erin Plants and Lori Rush; students and a parent also spoke during the spotlight.

Dr. Horner highlighted Director Liz Greeman for securing a grant awarded for over $187,000 to support early reading intervention; Speech & Language Pathologist Linsey Jones was recognized for successful work with kindergarten students that will be expanded because of the grant. Middle school teachers Jared Lancaster, Molly Henhuis and Kendra Weeks were recognized for completing additional educational credits.
