Kenowa Hills board approves $6.24 million in October expenditures, accepts staff retirement and new hire

Personnel recommendations approved on the consent agenda included the retirement of Carole (Mikie) McVey, Alpine Elementary art and STEM teacher, effective Dec. 31, 2025, and the hiring of Lucille Sarchet as a temporary speech and language pathologist at Zinser Elementary, effective Nov. 17, 2025.
The board recorded no further discussion in the minutes about these items and took no separate motions beyond approving the consent agenda.
