The Kenowa Hills Public Schools Board of Education voted unanimously on Dec. 15 to adopt a package of policy revisions, deletions, and technical corrections identified in Report #25-062. Member Hart moved the package and Member Roberts seconded; the motion passed 6-0 with Member Turner absent.
The package included revisions and replacements to nondiscrimination and anti-harassment policies (Policies 1422/3122/4122; 1422.02/3122.02/4122.02), technical corrections to Section 504/ADA employment protections (Policy 1623/3123/4123), deletion/rescind of certain harassment policies (Policy 1662/3362/4362), revisions to curriculum development (Policy 2210), homebound instruction (Policy 2412), student safety and data policies (Policies 7540.02; 7541; 8300; 8305), updates to bullying and other aggressive behavior policy (Policy 5517.01), and multiple other technical corrections listed in the board record.
The board did not record debate or roll-call dissent on the record; the motion carried as noted in Report #25-062. The policies listed in the meeting materials will be updated in district policy records per the board’s action.
