Applicant Brent Blair told the council he intends to subdivide the site into two single-family lots.
No one spoke in opposition during the council public hearing. Councilmember Doug Hunt moved to approve the rezoning for the reasons stated by the planning staff; the motion carried 7-0.
The site is currently undeveloped except for a small shed; no specific development timetable or building plans were provided at the meeting.
