Sheboygan County Finance Committee approves IT licensing purchase and asphalt plant budget adjustment

Chairperson Vern Koch called the Sheboygan County Finance Committee to order at 3:30 p.m. on March 26, 2025, and certified compliance with the open meetings law.
Finance Director Steve Hatton reported progress on the county's enterprise resource planning (ERP) project, saying changes are being captured in the production environment, and said preliminary work has begun on the 2026 budget process.
Information Services Director Christopher Lewinski presented a request to use the Information Technology unrestricted fund balance to purchase Microsoft licensing. Supervisor Thomas Wegner moved to approve the request; Supervisor Curt Brauer seconded the motion, which the committee carried.
Hatton, speaking on behalf of Transportation Director Bryan Olson, presented a budget adjustment request for the county asphalt plant. Supervisor William Goehring moved to approve the adjustment; Supervisor Thomas Wegner seconded and the motion carried.
The committee reviewed vouchers. Supervisor Curt Brauer moved to approve the expenditures; Supervisor Thomas Wegner seconded and the motion carried.
Supervisor William Goehring moved to approve the minutes of March 12, 2025; Supervisor Thomas Wegner seconded and the motion carried. There was no correspondence and no requests for approval of attendance at other meetings or functions.
Supervisor William Goehring moved to adjourn; Supervisor Curt Brauer seconded and the motion carried. The meeting adjourned at 3:49 p.m.
