The committee approved the Feb. 17, 2025 minutes after Committee Member Chris Stephen moved to adopt them and Committee Member Cynthia Maxwell seconded. The motion carried with no nay votes.
The evaluator's report was presented as a summary of recent activities; no committee action was required on the report itself. Chairperson Lindsay Rick led discussion of Phase One of the program to ensure expectations align with best practices and raised the possibility of adding "Recovery Capital" language to the program handbook. The committee did not decide on handbook language and tabled the item for further consideration at the next meeting on May 19, 2025.
Committee Member Chris Stephen proposed changing the oversight committee's schedule from monthly to quarterly meetings so that the Treatment Court team could use the remaining Mondays for informal preparation. Committee Member Jason Latva seconded the motion; the committee approved the change with no nay votes.
Members also briefly discussed options for substitute judges or other arrangements when the assigned judge cannot attend Treatment Court hearings; no formal action was taken on that topic.
