Valley County commissioners approve written decision setting McCall Area of Impact boundary

The Valley County Board of Commissioners on Nov. 5, 2025, unanimously approved a written decision establishing the boundary for the McCall Area of Impact after the prosecuting attorney said state statute requires the decision be recorded.
Chairman Sherry Maupin presented an agenda item at the Nov. 5 meeting of the Valley County Board of County Commissioners to review and approve a written decision setting the boundary for the McCall Area of Impact.
Prosecuting Attorney Brian Oakey presented the written decision and advised the board that state statute requires the decision to be recorded. The commissioners expressed appreciation for the work by the Prosecuting Attorney's Office in preparing the document.
Commissioner Neal Thompson moved to approve the written decision setting the boundary for the McCall Area of Impact “as presented.” Commissioner Katlin Caldwell seconded the motion. The board voted in favor and the motion passed; the commissioners voted unanimously among those present.
The board adjourned at 11:36 a.m. on Nov. 5, 2025.
