The board approved the Certified Ratio Declaration Form at 100% in a motion made by Scott Cheney; the board also approved the March 17, 2026 Annual Town Meeting minutes and the March 17 Select Board minutes on a motion by Herman Condon. Treasurer Warrants #18-26 were approved on a motion by Scott Cheney and seconded by Ryan Spooner.
On appointments and policy actions, the board appointed Maylen Kenney as the new Board Chair (motion by Scott Cheney, seconded by Herman Condon). The minutes record that FOAA training is required for newly or reelected officers and that Ryan Spooner and Maylen Kenney will complete the required training and sign an acknowledgement. The board approved a slate of Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals and election-staff nominations presented by the Town Clerk (motion by Herman Condon, seconded by Scott Cheney).
The Select Board named Ryan Spooner as an authorized signature on treasurer disbursements pursuant to 30-A M.R.S.A. §5603 (motion by Scott Cheney, second by Herman Condon). The board also approved the Tax Collector’s request to apply payments against outstanding taxes in chronological order, beginning with the oldest unpaid tax bill (motion by Scott Cheney, second by Ryan Spooner).
The board authorized Town Manager Sandra L. Fournier to sign an authorization to allow the Maine Forest Service access to town property to conduct a field survey on water-quality practices (motion by Herman Condon, second by Scott Cheney).
The board set a joint Select Board meeting for April 21, 2026, at 6:00 PM and scheduled the next Select Board meeting for May 13, 2026, at 7:00 PM. The meeting adjourned at 7:48 PM. The minutes were respectfully submitted by Town Manager Sandra L. Fournier.
