The council authorized the city manager to sign a professional-services agreement with the Clininger Group for the 2026 local paving program at a total cost of $35,000; council members approved the motion by roll call.
Council also adopted a revision to the city's strategic pillars to add 'responsible infrastructure' alongside public safety, strong neighborhoods, connected community and economic vitality. The council approved a motion to authorize the Clerk of Council to certify there is no request for a hearing on a liquor-permit application for 2 Brothers LLC; that certification passed with one abstention recorded.
