A motion to give staff direction carried after a commissioner moved and another seconded.
Staff said they would draft the letter, include county-specific statistics and work with county human-services and finance staff on content to ensure the county’s concerns are documented before the July 13 deadline. The board asked commissioners to review and edit the draft over the weekend to meet the timeline.
