Sheboygan County committee reviews 2024 MS4 report, tables 2025 conservation review and approves vouchers

The Sheboygan County Planning, Resources, Agriculture & Extension Committee on March 11, 2025 received the county’s 2024 MS4 (Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System) report and heard staff updates on several conservation and infrastructure projects. The committee also approved vouchers and tabled a scheduled review of 2025 conservation projects until April 8, 2025.
Aaron Brault presented the 2024 MS4 report and took questions from committee members about compliance and related work. The committee’s record indicates Brault also updated members on ongoing and planned departmental projects, including the Marsh Management Plan, progress on the Rocky Knoll Trail, a proposed land swap and utility corridor with the City of Sheboygan, Amsterdam Dunes credit releases, and the selection of exterior colors for the Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) building.
The agenda item to review 2025 conservation projects and goals was not considered in full; the committee tabled that review to the Planning & Conservation–focused PRAE meeting scheduled for April 8, 2025. No vote details beyond the scheduling note were included in the meeting record.
On routine business, Supervisor John Nelson moved to approve vouchers; Supervisor Stan Lammers seconded and the motion carried with no opposition. Later, Supervisor Joe Liebau Jr. moved to adjourn; Supervisor John Nelson seconded and the meeting adjourned at 3:57 PM.
The committee recorded no correspondence, no travel reports and no requests for attendance at other meetings or functions. A UW-Extension–focused PRAE meeting is scheduled for March 25, 2025 at 3:30 PM; the Planning & Conservation–focused meeting is set for April 8, 2025 at 3:30 PM.
