A district presenter said the item is meant to allow students to take the course multiple times in the same year across different grade levels and to ensure transcripts reflect the experience.
Board member Dr. McDonald asked staff to confirm the grade-code sequence for the course. After staff clarified the intended grade coverage, a board member moved to approve the request and the chair seconded. “All in favor, say aye,” the chair said; the motion carried by voice vote.
The course addition will be incorporated into the district’s local course list; staff encouraged board members to visit the classes to see the peer work in practice. The approval was recorded as a local-board action with no further conditions noted.
