County Administrator updates committee on staffing, compensation study and ERP progress

Krause reported that County Board Supervisor Jacob Immel will resign at the end of the month. She also said Medical Examiner Chris Nehring is retiring; Deputy Medical Examiner Desarae Rhode is being promoted to the Medical Examiner position. Krause said the Veteran Service Officer position is open and being recruited. These staffing items were informational updates to the committee; no formal personnel actions were recorded in the minutes.
Krause thanked the committee for continued support of a Culture, Mission, Vision and Values initiative and described an All Employee Survey that is currently underway, outlining next steps. She noted that the Property Committee recently approved a facility use agreement with Lakeshore College and the University of Wisconsin'Green Bay Sheboygan campus; that approval was reported to the Executive Committee as information.
Krause also provided an update on a compensation study led by McGrath, saying draft recommendations have been developed and department-head meetings have taken place; she indicated a timeline is being followed to present final recommendations to the board but did not specify dates in the minutes. Krause and Deputy County Administrator Emily Stewart additionally gave brief updates on the county ERP (enterprise resource planning) project and on Sheboygan County Connect, including recent media coverage of the Connect effort.
