County Administrator Alayne Krause reported to the Sheboygan County Executive Committee on Feb. 26, 2026, that the Property Committee has approved a lease amendment for the Fine Arts and Physical Education buildings at the UW–Green Bay Sheboygan campus and that the amendment will follow the normal approval process through the full County Board.
Krause said Deputy Administrator Emily Stewart is preparing a grant application to the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) for the Fine Arts Building. The minutes note these items as administrator reports; the committee reviewed the information and took no formal action that day.
Krause also briefed the committee on community updates: Lake Breeze Aviation celebrated two years of operation and Bookworm Gardens marked its 15th anniversary. She summarized highlights from the National Association of Counties (NACo) Legislative Conference in Washington, D.C., which she attended with Chairman Keith Abler.
All items in the administrator’s report were presented as informational updates in the meeting minutes; the record does not specify grant amounts, lease terms, project schedules, or subsequent required approvals beyond the normal County Board process for the lease amendment.
