Tecumseh council approves PS&E for NDOT CN13214 project

The Tecumseh City Council on May 19, 2025, approved Resolution 2025-5 to accept preliminary plans, specifications and estimates (PS&E) for NDOT CN13214, also called the DTR Project Plans. Council member Alicia Brommer moved to approve the resolution and Lorie Topp seconded; the motion passed with Lance Beethe, Brian Britt, Alicia Brommer, Travis Goracke, Tyler Speckmann and Lorie Topp recorded as voting aye.
The approval was taken during a brief public meeting convened at 5:00 p.m. in the Utilities Conference Room at the Utility Shop. Mayor Jesse Grof read a statement confirming the availability of the current copy of the Open Meeting Act and called the meeting to order at 5:01 p.m.
The council then approved the consent agenda. Council member Lorie Topp moved, and Travis Goracke seconded, to approve the consent agenda, which the minutes identify as: (1) approval of the minutes of the May 5, 2025 meeting and (2) payment of city bills. The consent motion carried with Beethe, Britt, Goracke, Speckmann and Topp voting aye; Alicia Brommer is recorded as not present for the consent vote.
There is no additional discussion recorded in the minutes about the substance of the NDOT CN13214 project or the consent items. The meeting was adjourned at 5:03 p.m.
