Regional School District No. 20 board elects Tiffany Parkhouse chair; vice chair decided after four ballots

Tiffany Parkhouse was nominated for chair by Board member Susan Wheeler and seconded by Board member Margaret Hunt. Parkhouse accepted the nomination; a roll-call vote recorded 11 in favor and one opposed (Board member Rob DeLayo). The minutes report Parkhouse was elected chairperson with 96.99% in favor. The meeting was then turned over to Chairperson Tiffany Parkhouse.
The vice chair election was contested and required multiple ballots. Assistant Superintendent Julie Haggard and Chief Financial Officer Julia Cardillo attended as administrative staff.
