Veterans service director reports $668,000 in July revenue, FY26 YTD $3.10 million

Scott Nation, veterans service office director, presented highlights for FY26 operations and outcomes. "Over 1,763 appointments have came through the office," he said, including veterans, widows and dependents, and he listed 54 training events and more than 30 home visits.
Nation reported new revenue for the county in July of $668,000 and a year‑to‑date total for FY26 of $3,095,849 from retroactive VA payments identified by the office. He said those figures reflect retroactive payments to veterans and beneficiaries that his office helped identify and that totals are based on cases the office is aware of and has processed.
