Council approves claims with condition, funds stump grinding from water utility and notes generator delivery

A motion on the floor to pay $1,500 from the water utility for a contractor to grind about 20 stumps in the well field passed unanimously after a second was recorded.
Utilities staff also reported the arrival of a new generator for the water tower; the unit is not yet hooked up because a propane tank and final connection work remain. Staff said the generator hookup will be covered by ARPA grant funds and one well is now producing approximately 500–600 gallons per minute.
Council agreed the clerk should supply corrected appropriation numbers for misallocated invoice entries and include a missing $39.95 invoice on the next claims docket.
