The Hopkins County Commissioners Court approved a county boat agreement with the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department during its Feb. 3 meeting, enabling the county to process boat titles and registrations locally.
Tax Assessor–Collector Chasity Campbell told the court that the agreement allows Hopkins County staff to process boat titles and registrations under the TPWD arrangement. The court approved the agreement unanimously on a motion by Commissioner Greg Anglin, seconded by Commissioner Travis Thompson.
