One council member said the town typically does not charge Orleans kids to use the fields, but if organizers charge teams and make revenue, a donation back to the Summer League would be appropriate.
The council moved, seconded and approved the request with the insurance condition. The council asked staff to obtain written permission and insurance documentation before the event and to ensure any additional-insured requirements are satisfied.
