Minong board lowers Lakeside Bridge weight limit to 6 tons, assigns monthly inspections

Willie demonstrated how he would like inspections to be conducted. Todd (T.) Conaway was designated to perform future monthly inspections and to send inspection reports to Willie.
Board members discussed whether the bridge should be closed entirely but instead approved a motion to limit weight. J. Smith moved “to lower bridge down to 6 ton”; D. Patrick seconded and the motion passed with the minutes recording “all in favor.” The minutes do not provide individual vote counts.
Susan and Rhonda were tasked with drafting letters to alert delivery companies, Lakeside North and Miles Lake Road residents, and other potentially affected parties about the new posted limit. The minutes note that KSIS took over responsibilities previously held by DELF Consulting but do not elaborate on funding or a timeline for permanent repairs.
