Minong board to run notice and conditionally approve liquor license for W6095 Hwy 77

Clerk/Treasurer Susan Conaway told the Minong Town Board on Feb. 9 that the town received a liquor-license application for a property at W6095 Hwy 77 and that she and L. Shepard had reviewed background-check procedures.
"We need to put an ad in the paper just like we normally do in May," Conaway said, explaining the board’s next administrative step. Conaway added the property owner was informed they will also need to apply for a new license in July.
Dean Patrick moved to place the required notice in the newspaper and to approve the liquor license contingent on satisfactory background checks; Christine Holland seconded. The board voted all in favor and the motion carried.
No additional conditions or objections were recorded at the meeting.
