The board also set a timetable to fill an upcoming supervisor vacancy: it will accept applications and resumes through June 22, 2026, and hold interviews on July 6 beginning at 3:00 p.m. The interviews will be conducted in open session, the board said, and applicants will be considered at a special meeting.
The appointment gives the board a permanent chair for daily oversight and meeting management through the next municipal election cycle. The board’s next regular meeting will include follow-up items related to the vacancy process and candidate interviews.
