Board members asked whether sending districts would have input on admissions for limited-seat classes and whether financial arrangements would change. The presenter said admission for CTE seats is primarily seat-availability based and that most administrative and financial arrangements remain unchanged under the draft, although state rules could limit the charge the receiving district can assess in the future.
The motion to authorize the president to sign the agreements passed by voice vote. The board also announced an open house for sending school board members at the Regional Technical Center to review programs.
