Plan Commission approves Boldt Co. site plan for Marinette City Hall and Police Department renovations and additions

The Plan Commission on March 4 approved a site plan submitted by The Boldt Company for renovation and additions at 2000 Mary Street. Sam Williams represented The Boldt Company and described a proposal that includes an 18,000-square-foot renovation of the Armory building for the Police Department, a 7,500-square-foot addition for City Hall and a 5,000-square-foot garage addition for the Police Department. City reviewers — Public Works/City Engineer Miller (review recorded), Building Inspector Curt Demlow, Water/Wastewater Operations Manager Howard and Fire Chief Heckel — had signed off on the plan.
On motion by Alderperson Skorik and second by Commissioner Heraly, commissioners approved the site plan as presented and authorized Building Inspector Curt Demlow to issue a building permit for work in the I-1 Institutional District.
