During the working session the SelectBoard handled several procedural items and took three formal votes.
Sewer tax warrant: The tax collector reported sewer tax warrant number 4 of 4 for 2025 covering 28 homes and said there had been no change. Chair moved to approve and sign the warrant and a SelectBoard member seconded; the board recorded two 'Aye' votes and approved the warrant.
Budget presentation: Later, after extended debate on FEMA allocations and budget line items, the Chair moved that the board move forward with the revenue and expenditure figures as presented for the Thursday budget hearing. A SelectBoard member seconded; the motion passed with two 'Aye' votes, allowing staff to prepare materials and present the proposed numbers publicly for feedback.
Nonpublic session and seal: The board voted to enter a nonpublic session under RSA 91-A:3 II(c) to discuss a tax-abatement/assistance request and personnel matters; after the closed session the SelectBoard voted to seal the nonpublic minutes and then adjourned the meeting.
The board emphasized these votes authorize presentation and public discussion at the upcoming budget hearing; final decisions on appropriations and warrant articles rest with town meeting voters.
