Some members favored using projected savings in a benefits/insurance line or other general fund savings; others urged compiling a prioritized list of all departments’ facility repair needs so the board can “rack and stack” requests before committing capital reserve funds or CRF draws.
The board voted to direct department heads to prepare a prioritized list of near‑term facility repair requests tied to health, safety and accessibility concerns and to return that matrix at the next meeting so the board can set priorities and identify funding sources.
