Platte County opens 2026 parks outreach grants, intends to increase funding

Erickson said the grant program has existed roughly 25 years and that, based on its popularity, the commission intends to allocate more funds this year to support more or larger projects. He said application materials and eligibility details are available at www.platparks.com and that a press release with additional details would be issued later that day or early the next day.
Erickson encouraged potential applicants to review the online application and said staff will accept submissions according to the posted guidance.
