Councilor Carl L. Sasser Jr. then moved, and Councilor Ashley Hardee seconded, a motion to approve an addendum to the Town Manager's contract. The motion passed by roll-call vote: Councilors Randy Crocker, Lillie Feggins-Boone, Jenifer Freeman-Hite, Ashley Hardee, Gavin Honeycutt, Delores Luster and Carl L. Sasser Jr. voted Aye; Councilor Michael Smith voted No.
There was no formal action taken during the Closed Session itself, and the council adjourned the special meeting at 6:40 p.m. Minutes for the meeting were validated on Jan. 12, 2026.
