Castle Hill municipal officers approve minutes and warrants, set March 17 election and town meeting dates

The Castle Hill Municipal Officers met at the Town Office on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2026. Chair Shari Cheney called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. Present were Chair Shari Cheney, Herman Condon and Maylen Kenney; Ryan Spooner and Scott Cheney were absent. Town Manager Sandra Fournier and Treasurer Lisa Foster attended as staff.
The board approved the minutes of the Select Board meeting held Jan. 14, 2026. The motion to approve the minutes was made by Herman Condon and seconded by Maylen Kenney; the motion passed, 3–0.
The board reviewed and approved Treasurer’s Warrants numbered 1 through 7. The motion to approve the warrants was made by Maylen Kenney and seconded by Herman Condon; the motion passed, 3–0.
Under new business the board approved and signed the warrant for the Annual Town Meeting as presented. The motion was made by Maylen Kenney, seconded by Herman Condon and passed, 3–0. The Selectboard also signed the Spirit of America Award at this meeting; the award had been approved previously at a Joint Board meeting on Dec. 16, 2025.
The board set upcoming dates: a Joint Board Meeting on Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.; the Local Election on Monday, March 17, 2026, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m.; and the Annual Town Meeting on Monday, March 17, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. All three March events are scheduled to be held at the Mapleton, Castle Hill, and Chapman Fire Station as listed in the warrant.
Chair Shari Cheney adjourned the meeting at 7:08 p.m. Treasurer Lisa Foster signed the minutes as respectfully submitted.
