Mayor Jeff Jensen presented Ordinance 691 and Council Member Michael Butler moved for passage on third reading; Council Member Abby Humes seconded the motion. The council approved the ordinance unanimously.
The ordinance adds section 6‑1‑40 to the municipal code regarding use of handheld wireless devices while operating a vehicle. The council provided no additional amendment to the language during the meeting; the ordinance was passed on the record.
