The Myersville Board of Zoning Appeals elected Tora Scott as chairperson and Jerri Solomon as vice chair during its Aug. 26, 2025 meeting and approved the March 12, 2025 meeting minutes.
Tora Scott, a member of the Board of Zoning Appeals, was nominated for chair by Board member Jerri Solomon, accepted the nomination and was recorded as elected with three votes. Jerri Solomon, a board member, was nominated for vice chair by Tora Scott, accepted and was recorded as elected with three votes.
The board also voted to approve the March 12, 2025 meeting minutes in a motion made by Tora Scott and seconded by Jerri Solomon; the motion is recorded as carrying 4-0 with one absence (James Derse). A motion to adjourn later in the meeting was made by Jerri Solomon, seconded by Curtis Gendler and carried 4-0 with one absence; the meeting adjourned at 8:33 p.m.
